The UCTV website is up and running, so make sure to check out all the cool stuff posted on it! UCTV will be hosting a variety of workshops over the next few weeks that are open to everyone, so if you want to learn how to produce a great show and more, go to the Events page.
Marketing has had a successful second day with UCTV Waldo with several posts on social media. The final day will be on March 31st, so keep an eye out for our bright red Waldo shirts and don’t miss your last chance to enter to win $25 for four restaurants!
Coming up this week for sports is the continued coverage of the women’s NCAA tournament. There will be two games at Gampel and potentially two more for Bridgeport, so tune in and support your Husky ladies!
If you’re around the UCTV studio, make sure to lend your congratulations to the News Department. From the 13th to 15th, several UCTV members attended the College Media Association (CMA) conference, where UCTV News took home the Best Newscast Award (Emmy still pending).
In the realm of television coming at you live, UCTV is bringing a student-version of LL Cool J’s lip sync to UConn with UCTV Lip Sync on April 22nd from 5-7. Look out for our flyers so that you can sign up and compete for your chance to win an Apple Watch or $250! Unfortunately, Chrissy Teigen is unable to attend, but we will make sure to provide an equally random DJ to fill the spot.
